Beautification in 3, 2,1
When beauty is missing from the community landscape........
The community rain garden project is a collaborative effort to turn an unsightly plot of unkempt land in my neighborhood into an educational rain garden oasis where people can learn about the functionality of rain gardens as well as the importance of maintaining our natural environment in our communities at large.
The sloped area is located on 7th ave and begins between 41st and 42nd street and continues under the highway overpass. Through the Department of Transportation adopt a highway program, Cherades will act as an ambassador for the land area to create a sustainable, aesthetically appeasing landscape area that the community can take part of and enjoy. We'd love your help whether through volunteering or donations (cash and/or materials). If you'd like to get involved please leave your information below.
